At present, We are facing the possible loss of classical forestry and the hardships of conventional forestry. The dawn of ecological forestry has appeared! Driven by increasing of the declination of the forest resources, forestry of the world is at a crossroads. The focus in ecological forestry is on the maintenance of complex ecosystem but not just on the regeneration of trees. By taking the ecological forestry road, it means to follow the principle of ecology and to give full play to the manifold benefit of the forest and the value of the manifold resources. According to the law as a whole of the economic-ecological system, We hope to attain the goal which includes various level utilization, organic combination, systematic management and synthetic management. That means, We should attempt to construct a whole coordinate and forest sustained yield system, which must be not only high efficacy, high efficiency; but also no waste material and no pollution. This paper expound some view and principle of forestry ecological engineering. The author pointed out that: only by relying on the view of new ecology and new economics, the goal of ecological forestry can be realized.

The evaluated economic values of eco-systems' service function of water source regulation by forests in mountainous areas in eastern Liaoning were 1811.41 yuan RMB·hm~(-2)·a~(-1), and total values were 41.79×10~8 yuan RMB.

文章应用现代生态学和现代经济学的基本原理,参照国内外同类研究成果,对辽宁东部山区森林涵养水源的生态系统服务功能进行了比较系统研究,并采取不同的方法对森林涵养水源的能力进行了计算,并对其生态价值进行了与市场经济价值转换的尝试。经估算,辽宁东部山区森林生态系服务功能涵养水源的经济价值为1811.41元·hm-2·a-1,总价值为41.79×108元人民币。

On the theories and principles of modern ecology,such as ecosystem ecology,landscape ecology,and mountain science,a division system with four classes were established: forest region,sub-regions,sub-sub-region and small region according to their spatial structure and geographical characteristics of forest ecosystems in Yunnan hot regions.Yunnan hot regions were classified into three geographical forest regions: 1) of southeastern Yunnan including Yuanjiang river region,Nanpanjiang river and southern subtropical area;2) southern Yunnan,including Lancangjiang river area,Nujiang river and Yiluowadi river area;3) northern Yunnan,including the dry and hot valley areas of Jinshajiang river and tropical sparse forest grassland area.Eleven sub-regions,25 sub-sub-regions and 43 samll regions were obtained.The geographical distribution and forest characteristics of the 11 sub-regions were described and evaluated.

按照云南热区森林生态系统的空间结构和地理特征,应用生态系统学、景观生态学、山地学等现代生态学的理论和原理,确立了云南热区森林地理分区的原则及“森林区”、“分区”、“亚区”、“小区”的4级分区系统。把云南热区分为3个森林地理区:云南东南部元江、南盘江流域热带北缘、南亚热带森林区,云南南部西南部澜沧江、怒江、伊洛瓦底江流域热带北缘、南亚热带森林区,云南北部金沙江河谷热带性、南亚热带性稀树草原森林区。下分11个森林地理分区,25个亚区,43个小区。并对其11个森林地理分区作了地理及森林类型特征的评述。
