The mechanical behaviours of rockmass in high slope engineering have close relations with various factors including its surrounding stress environments and physical conditions as well as the time-space effects of rockmass deformation in unloading zones neighbouring slope surface due to excavation in construction work. In this paper, the study on stability of the black granite diorite, a kind of brittle elasto-viscous rockmaas,in the unloading zones neighbouring slope surface of an artificially excavated high slope engineering work would naturally reflect the following three respects of mechanism from the viewpoint of damage-fracture mechanics:(1 ) the unloading damage-fracture effects of rockmass neighbouring slope surface,resulting from excavation work of the slope by parts ;(2)the time effect deformation and creep shear expansion during development of the damage and fracture of rockmass in unloading zones neighbouring slope surface under action of the secondary stress field after excavation ;and(3) the ground dynamic action relevant to the sudden and sharp release of stress energy from the brittle elastic rockmass in overstressed region due to. excavation.This paper focuses on rockmass stability of the artificially excavated high slope of the shiplock engineering work of the Three Gorges Project of Yangtze River. A brief description of the progress in research work involved with the above-mentioned first two respects is presented.

边坡工程岩体的力学性态与其所处的应力环境、物理环境以及开挖施工卸荷坡邦岩体变形的时空效应等许多因素密切相关.因而,似本文研讨的闪云斜长花岗岩这类脆弹粘性岩体高边坡工程坡邦卸荷带岩体的稳定问题,从损伤、断裂力学的观点言,本质上反映了三方面的力学机制,即:(1)边坡分部开挖引起坡邦岩体的卸荷损伤、断裂效应;(2)二次应力场作用下坡邦岩体产生的损伤、断裂时效变形与蠕变扩容;以及(3)在高地应力区,脆弹粘性岩体因开挖导致与其应变能骤然急剧释放有关的地动力作用.本文结合长江三峡高边坡船闸工程的岩体稳定问题,拟就上述的前两个方面的研究工作进展作一简要论述.

It is the first time in rock mechanics field to make real-time CT testing of the meso-damage evolution law of the whole failure process of rock in unloading condition using the specified loading equipment corresponding to the CT machine developed by the authors.Through the CT testing,the clear CT images are obtained to include the whole process from the microcrack growth,propagation,penetration and failure of rock sample in unloading condiction.Comparing to the testing results of rock failure under the succesive loading and unloading condition,it is clear that it is easy for failure phenomenon to happen suddenly in the process of unloading condition of rock.For the static rock failure,the whole process curve is divided into five stages based on the meso-damage evolution law of rock in the successive loading condition.The initial unloading meso-damage evolution law is given.

利用作者已研制成功的与 CT机配套的专用三轴加载试验设备 ,在国内外首次完成了岩石卸荷损伤断破裂坏全过程的实时 CT试验。得到了岩石卸荷损伤演化过程中从裂纹发育、扩展、贯通到断裂破坏全过程的 CT图像。通过与岩石连续加载破坏过程细观试验结果的比较发现 ,岩石卸荷破坏比连续加载情形下岩石破坏更具突发性。由静态连续加载岩石细观损伤机理出发 ,将静态岩石全过程曲线划分为 5个阶段。得到了卸荷条件下岩石损伤扩展的初步规律。

Using a specified loading equipment corresponding to the CT machine, a contrastive study of meso\|damage failure mechanism of sandstone under successive loading and unloading confine pressure condition is accomplished by means of CT real\|time testing. It is demonstrated that in the process of unloading, failure of rock is paroxysmal.

利用专用的与CT机配套的三轴加载实验设备 ,采用CT实时试验的手段 ,对连续加载试验条件下和卸围压应力作用下砂岩破坏细观机理进行了对比研究 .结果表明 ,岩石的卸荷损伤演化破坏具有突发性 .
