Based on the triplet code model of leptons and quarks, an ansatz about the numbers of gauge fields, which is assumed to be the numbers of independent phases in the fundamental gauge transformations, is suggested. In the minimal model, the number is 18, and 3 gauge fields mediating baryon nouconservation interactions are predicted.

In the experimental process dealing with the diagnosis of early carci- noma by fluorescence sensitizatioh method,we observed several biologic mac-romolecules which possess the sensitization effect to the fluorescence of the derivatives of hematoporphyrin (HPD). By means of isolated simulate experiment, the energy transmission between bovine albumin (BALB) and HPD has been confirmed, the energy donor was BALB and the energy recipient was HPD. The transmission efficiency has been evaluated and the types of interaction between BALB and HPD were discussed.1. Energy transmission between BALB and HPDThe B type protein of the queous solution of BALB has a relatively strong optical absorption at 280nm. Under room temperature, using violet light of 230nm to excite BALB, the emission peak was 350nm and its width was 66nm. The aqueous sol. of HPD has a strong absorption band at 380nm, its width was 58nm. There was a good photospectrum overlapping between them. If we add HPD of various concentrations into BALB sol. (with constant conc.) to make fluorescence spectrum, the emission of BALB reduced profoundly while the fluorescence intensity Increased markedly (about twice that of the original sol). This suggested that the sensitization effect of BALB to HPD is rather eminent. From the measurement cf the sudden disappearance of the fluorescence of the energy BALB donor, the following formula may be used to estimate the transmission efficiency between BALB and HPD.( 1 )When the concentration of HPD is 4.2×10-3M and that of the BALB is 1×1-5M, W = 0.57.2. Types of interaction between BALB and HPDWe selected several photosensitive experiments of various concentrations of HPD and found that within a given range of concentration the increase in conc, of HPD will cause a reduction in the reaction distance between donor and recipient and a marked decline of the luminescence of BALB. The energy transmission efficiency between BALB and HPD is strengthened, and is basically fulfilled the criteria of Forster formula:(2)Therefore, it is considered that the interaction between BALB and HPD is the interaction between even poles.

In section II,the fs -CA dependence is discussed for static transfer caused by electric multiple inteiaction, while Is-Cs dependence is discussed for hopping transfer with incorrelated S - S and S - A transfer rates and for concentration quenching, where S-S transfer rate is proportional to that of S-A transfer. The results show that as Cs is low enough,Is Cs holds for all kinds of energy transfer processes. The slop of the IS-C curve in log-log plot at the points where C is high enough reflects the mechanisms of S-S and S-A interactions.. For IS-CA curve of static transfer, this slop is CA-s/di. For Is-CS curve of hopping transfei, it is 1+r/s-r/d, where s, r are the electric multiple indices of S-A and S-S interactions, d is the dimension of the system. In concentration quenching, it is 1 - s/d for electric multiple interaction and zero for exchange interaction. Hence the interaction mechanism may be deduced from the IS-CA and/or Js-CS curves.The optimum concentration for the highest brightness in a material with concentration quenching may be calculated from energy transfer parameters, as shown in eq. (12), which is derived from the point of intersection of the two asymptotes of the log-log ploted I-C curve for large and small C.If the sample is not optically thin, eqs. (1) and (2) must be revised as (1') and (2'). For optically excited thick sample, especially, the above mentioned slop is that of the corresponding thin sample minus 1.
