In 1.0~3.0 mol/LHCl solutions,the simultaneous leaching of ocean manganese noduleand zinc sulfide concentrate was investigated.The leaching conditions include the ratio be-tween the manganese nodule and zinc concentrate,the initial HCl concentration in the leach-ing solution,the leaching temperature,and the leaching time.
In this paper,a hydrometallurgical process for the treatment of zinc ore with high iron content is studied,The process mainly consists of three steps:simultaneous leach of zinc sulfide concentrate and pyrolusite,neutralization of solution by zinc oxide ore and two-stage electrolysis of Zn and MnO2.Experimental results show that the hydrometallurgical method proposed in this paper for treatment of zinc ore with high iron content is feasible technologically.
