Under atmospheric pressure and 300C, the effect of different carriers, reaction temperature, a bit of additive and different C2H5I/C2H5OH ratios on the carbonylation of ethanol to ethyl propionate over supported Ni-Cu catalyst was studied. Obtained results with bimetallic mixed carbonlys were much higher than those obtained with a single carbonyl, Co_2(CO)_8 or Ru_3(CO)_(12).IR spectra indicated that the absorption bands of the mixed carbonyls after hydroformylation were characteristic of the individual carbonyls, implying no...

A synergistic effect has been observed in olefin hydroformylation with bimetallic carbonly mixtures of Co_2(CO)_8 and Ru_3(CO)_(12). Obtained results with bimetallic mixed carbonlys were much higher than those obtained with a single carbonyl, Co_2(CO)_8 or Ru_3(CO)_(12).IR spectra indicated that the absorption bands of the mixed carbonyls after hydroformylation were characteristic of the individual carbonyls, implying no compound formation between Co_2(CO)_8 and Ru_3(CO)_(12).Previously, the cyclic mechanism of hydroformylation was usually discussed on the basis of a single metal center. Based on the present results we suggest that the cycle can be completed by two metal centers when the reaction is carried out in a bimetallic system.

In the case of higher cobalt content(2.4%),the synergistic effect of Ru-Co/13X bimetallic catalyst can be mainly explained by the former, but the synergistic effect results mainly from the latter in lower Co content(Co≤0.56%) catalyst.The stronger interaction between cobalt and zeolite support causes the change of the synergistic effect with Co content.

应用FT-IR及XPS考察了Ru-Co/13X在催化α-辛烯氢甲酰化反应中的双金属协同效应.结果表明:在该双金属体系中存在有两种协同效应.随着Co含量的不同,两种协同效应表现的程度不同.在高Co含量时(2.4%),协同效应主要是酷基钻与钌氢化物间的双核还原-消除反应,而在低Co含量时(Co≤0.56%),协同效应则主要来自于Co°-Ru3+之间的相互作用.
