The Estimate Signal Parmeter Via Rotational Invariance Technique (ESPRIT) is a new algorithm to estimate signal parameters. The Teoplitz covariance matrix is adopted in this paper,so that the ESPRIT algorithm can be used to estimate the direction-of-arrival(DOA) for single snapshot array signals. The simulation results indicate that this method is better than the standard spatial smoothing algorithm.

ESPRIT算法利用旋转不变技术估计信号参数,是近年来提出的阵列信号处理理论的一个新领域,它具有高分辨率、高精度、不需空间搜索等优点。单快拍总被当作相干信号处理,本文采用了Teoplitz结构协方差矩阵估计,起了空间平滑作用,所以可以估计相于信号源的波达方向(DOA),与标准空间平滑协方差矩阵估计相比较,Teoplitz协方差阵估计在总体上提高了信噪比,并且不牺牲阵列孔径。 计算机模拟结果表明,基于Teoplitz结构协方差矩阵的TLS-ESPRIT算法在20dB信噪比下,可以分辨出相隔0.2瑞利波束宽度的空间信号。

A new approach to Estimation of Signal Parameters by Rotational Invariance Techniques (ESPRIT) is analysed. The main work is to research a new algorithm given by R. H. Roy, etc. The biggest advantage of this algorithm is that the noise doesn't have to be space white noise and doesn't have to solve the generalized eigenvalues of singular matrix pairs.The computer simulations were done with the algorithm of paper [2],[3],[6]. The simulation results show that the algorithm of R. H. Roy is advanced.

对一种用旋转不变技术估计信号参数的新方法(EEPRIT)进行理论分析和算法研究。主要研究了R.H.Roy等提出的新算法,该算法最大的优点是不要求噪声场为空间白和不需要求解奇异对的广义特征值。最后,对文献[2]、[3]和[6]提出的三种算法进行了计算机模拟。结果表明,R.H.Roy等提出的算法具有很大的优越性。
