In this paper, a continuous heavy rain process, which occurred over the middle reaches of Changjiang River between 18-21, August, 1987, is analysed using Column Maximum Pictures of WSR-81S digital radar data in Wuhan City. It is divided into two stages: local heavy rain and areal heavy rain. Their features during the initial and developing periods are discribed and the reasons are discussed.

本文利用武汉WSR-81S数字化雷达的Column Maximum图象产品资料,分析了1987年8月18日至21日发生在长江中游地区的一场连续暴雨过程。把这次过程分为局地暴雨和区域暴雨两个阶段。分析它们的发生、发展的雷达演交特征及形成的原因。

Two precipition processes happend on may 25, may 12, 1987 in Wuhan region are analyzed quantitatively in this paper by using the digitized data of colorized of the WSR-815 Weather radar and the rainfall of auto-raingauges Which are a part of the Whole radar-raingauge system. It is found that the effect of calculus of variations for adjustment is the most excellent and reached the needed accuracy after adjusting the radar measured area precipitaton with the calculus of variat-, ions and the average adjustment...

It is found that the effect of calculus of variations for adjustment is the most excellent and reached the needed accuracy after adjusting the radar measured area precipitaton with the calculus of variat-, ions and the average adjustment and comparing the two methods. At the same time this paper describes the digital solution of the variation equation and the choice of its weighhted coefficient, analyses and compares the practical effect of the digital information of Column Wax and ZPPI.

本文应用武汉地区1987年5月25日和5月12日二次降水过程的WSR—81S型数字化雷达的彩色分层数字资料和自动雨量计校准子系统的雨量资料。分别用变分方法和平均校准方法去校准雷达测定区域降水量,并对这两种方法进行比较,发现变分校准技术的效果最佳,能够达到一定的精度。同时介绍了变分方程的数值解法及其权重系数的选择,分析比较了Column Max和ZPPI两种图像数字资料的使用效果。

In the light of Wuhan and Yichang digitized radar echo data obtained during 1987—1989, the heavy rain occurrences in Hubei province in spring and summer are classified iuto five types, namely, meso-α scale heavy rain cloud cluster, cold front heavy rain, convective rain band in warm areas, landing typhoon, and multicell or snpercell. some eharacteristics of theirmesoscale structures and evolution. processes are described in this study.

根据1987—1989年武汉和宜昌数字化雷达回波资料,将湖北省春、夏季暴雨初步分为中-α尺度暴雨云团、冷锋暴雨、暖区对流降水带、登陆台风暴雨、复合(或超级)单体等五类。描述了各类暴雨的中尺度结构及其变化的一些特点。
