In the middle layer, the semantic clips are mapped to semantic concepts using neural network and decision tree methods. In the top layer, semantic inferences are made for event recognition using pre defined finite state machine models. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the event recognition algorithm.

为了对视频内容进行语义级别的事件分析和索引 ,进一步满足用户访问大规模体育视频库的需求 ,提出一种 3层次的视频语义推理方案。在最底层 ,提取视频特征 ,并提出一种视频语义片段自动分割算法 ;在第二层 ,把各语义片段映射到语义概念 ;在最高层 ,建立视频语义事件的有限状态自动机模型 ,进行事件推理和识别。实验结果表明 ,该方案可以有效地进行视频事件识别 ,检测的精度和速度都可以得到很好的保证

There has been some prior work focusing on sports video content analysis. Most of them are about semantic annotation and few of them are about syntactical segmentation and frameworks. Proposed a novel unified framework based on Basic Semantic Unit (BSU) for sports video content analysis, and demonstrated the detailed usage of this framework on soccer video. Our preliminary experimental studies indicate that the proposed framework is promising.

体育视频内容分析的研究现状集中在语义标注 ,对体育视频的句法分段和框架的研究较少 .本文在分析了体育视频基本特征的基础上 ,提出了体育视频中基本语义单元 (Basic Sem antic U nit,简称 BSU单元 )的概念 ;继而提出了一种基于 BSU的体育视频内容分析的通用框架 ;并且以足球视频为例 ,实例化了这种通用的体育视频内容分析框架 .初步的实验结果表明 ,这种基于 BSU的体育视频内容分析框架是有效和可行的 .

Sports event detection is the precondition of sports video retrieval based on content. According to the characteristics of soccer videos, this paper proposes an effective method to automatically detect goal shots using dominant color region detection and projection method, and thus realizes the soccer video retrieval based on goal shots. Finally, typical experiment results and analysis are given.

体育视频中事件的检测是基于内容的体育视频检索的前提。根据足球比赛视频的特点,提出了一种有效的射门镜头检测方法,即利用主颜色区域检测和投影法来检测射门镜头,从而实现了按射门镜头对视频进行检索。最后给出实验结果及分析。
