This paper focuses on the challenge that there is inhomogeneous temperature distribution on the surface of the strip at the transverse flux induction heating(TFIH)equipment outlet,presents the method estimating the distribution of eddy current,which means eddy current distribution mainly concentrates on the projection of coil geometry on strip surface,and further sets forth the conclusion:the projection area determines the temperature distribution,which gives a rule to choice coil geometry for uniform temperature...

This paper focuses on the challenge that there is inhomogeneous temperature distribution on the surface of the strip at the transverse flux induction heating(TFIH)equipment outlet,presents the method estimating the distribution of eddy current,which means eddy current distribution mainly concentrates on the projection of coil geometry on strip surface,and further sets forth the conclusion:the projection area determines the temperature distribution,which gives a rule to choice coil geometry for uniform temperature distribution based on projection area.According to the conclusion the TFIH equipment for continuously moving metal thin strips is designed.The adopted mathematical model consists of a set of differential equations for the steady state eddy current problem and a Fouriers thermal conduction equation for moving media.The eddy current field and its coupled thermal field are computed through three dimensional finite element method(FEM).The distributions of computed eddy current,heat source and temperature on the surface of the thin strip are presented,and the computed temperature result on the surface of the strip cross section at TFIH equipment outlet is compared with the measured result.

针对在横向磁通涡流感应加热中金属薄板表面温度分布不均匀的问题 ,提出了判断薄板表面涡流分布的方法 ,即薄板表面上的涡流分布可以近似为线圈几何形状在薄板表面的投影 ;进一步阐述了投影面积决定温度分布情况 ,因此为了在薄板表面得到均匀的温度分布应依据投影面积来选择线圈形状的设计原则。依据上述论断设计了连续运动薄板的横向磁通涡流感应加热装置 ,其数学模型包含一组稳态涡流问题的偏微分方程和含运动媒质的傅立叶热传导方程。采用三维有限元法对涡流场和温度场的耦合问题进行了数值分析 ,通过数值计算得出了薄板表面上的涡流、热源和温度分布 ,并将感应加热装置出口处沿宽度方向的计算值与测量值进行了比较 ,进一步验证了上述论断

通过沿薄板运动反方向以单元格的形式平移薄板中的热源来取代薄板的连续运动 ,使得温度场的每次计算可以采用相同的热源分布 ,无需重新计算涡流场 ,大大减少了横向磁通感应加热耦合场数值仿真的时间。利用有限元数值计算结果作为神经网络的训练样本 ,分别建立了横向磁通感应加热装置出口处平均温度及其平均相对误差的预测模型。检验样本的结果表明所训练的神经网络具有很高的准确性。利用神经网络分析了频率和电流对平均温度及其平均相对误差的影响 ,并应用模拟退火法对频率和电流进行了优化以获得给定温度下的最小平均相对误差
