This paper describes why to control the variation of the friction coefficient and friction temperature during operation and to analyses ferrographically grains can provide the basis for monitoring and diagnosing the operation state of the sliding bearing.

Directly joining magnetic recorder to the microcomputer, we completed dy-namic measuring of wear testing parameters. It is analyzed in this paper thespeciality for measurement of temperature on friction surface. It is shown inpractical measurement of friction surface temperature, the grindable dynamicthermocouple may be used as temperature transducer. For the measurement offriction coefficient the specially designed transducer may be used conveniently.Some research results were given.
