Based on the results of electrical analog tests, this paper analyses the horizontal ditch drainage for the layered soil with surface ponded water percolated and a less pervious layer underneath. The influence of the depth, thickness and the permeability of the impervious layer on the drainage discharge has been studied. The drainage discharge of the ditch in homogeneous soil varies directly with the depth of the ditch. The relationship between the drainage discharge for layered soil and the depth of the ditch is shown in Fig. 2. For the case of depth of impervious layer greater than twice the depth of ditch, the effect of the former is not obvious. Fig. 5 shows the effect of the relative permeability (k_1/k_2) of the impervious layer on the drainage discharge. The effect of the thickness of the impervious layer has the same characteristic as shown in Fig. 7.

The application of underground plastic pipe in farm land is a new technology for field drainage in China. The application of underground plastic pipe in farm land is a new technology for field drainage in China. The results showed that water could be drained away fluently when the pipe outlet was above the water level of river or ditch, and underground plastic pipe would play a desirable role in drainage. Field layout of underground plastic pipe should be started from the side of drainage ditch and extended to the side of irrigation ditch Both winding soft tube and stopping straight pipe hole are better methods for controlling plastic pipe outlet overflow.Field experiments showed that water storage capacity of soil in Shanghai was 20.5±7.0mm after a period of successive sunny days and 10.4±5.0mm after a period of successive rainny days. After a heavy rain, the underground water level rose from 1.0m to 0.3m for 18.1±4.8 hours. The zero flow water heads for the spacings of 7, 10, 15m were 0.05, 0.10, 0.15m respectively. There was a positive correlation between drainage rate of plastic pipe in different depths and water head (h)i.e.Q=A·h~B.There was a negative correlation between drainage rate Q and underground water level (N) i.e.Q=A·e~(B.N).

本研究以田间试验为基础,探索了塑料暗管排水的应用条件、田间布置、施工和出口控制方式,得出塑料暗管管口要始终处在河沟水位之上,才能充分发挥排水效果;田间布置一般以组合排水为好;从排水沟端开挖向灌渠方向延伸,并首创从灌渠旁引出地面冲淤;塑管出口控制以软管溢流、洞口溢流方式为优。经田间试验得出:上海地区土壤蓄水量,雨前连晴天为20.5±7.0mm,雨前连阴雨为10.4±5.0mm。一次大雨过程,地下水埋深从1米左右升至0.3米历时18.1±4.8小时。塑料暗管间距7、10、15米的停流水头分别为0.05、0.10,0.15米。塑料暗管排水不同深密度的排水率q与作用水头h呈正相关,为幂方程式,即q=A·h~B;排水率q与地下水埋深N呈负相关,为指数关系,q=A·e~(B.N)。
