Rational intercolumnation of integral framework is a important design parameter for small and medium sized nonlining ferromanganese blast furnace. In this paper,an empiric formula for calculating intercolumnation of integral framework and principle to determine datum mark for each frame platforms is introduced.Method and steps for calculating are presented.Good results were obtained in practice of integral frame application.

中小型无炉衬锰铁高炉整体框架合理柱距是重要的设计参数之一。文中介绍了计算整体框架柱距的经验式及确定框架各层平台标高的原则,提出整体框架设计计算方法与计算步骤。整体框架的应用实践表明,效果良好。

Some existed problems in the structural design of blast furnace are studied by calculation and comparison. The hinged design method is analysed for the connections of fundation and columns in the frames.A reasonable calculating diagram by using plane frames is presented, and a hinged method is also recommended for the design of column base. In addition, technical and economic analysis are carried out for using more steel column with concrete core in the frames of blas tfurnace in the future.
