In the climax of the acdemic development during the reign of Kang Xi,Qing Dyansty,a great number of founders and masters came out of a variety of academic schools.The exploration of it can help us track out the neglected missing links of the culture in the capital city of Beijing in the research on the intellectual and cultural history of the Qing Dynasty.

In the 20th century there did not emerge any great master of thought of world rank in Chinese academic circles,which had a bearing on the guiding ideology and the academic tendencies prevatent in Chinese academic circles.This comes from the following two consequences:1.Scholars were not ashamed of the popularity of "plagiarism of thoughts".Since the May 4th Movement (1919) the Chinese academic circles had been dominated by the Western hege-monist scholastic sayings.In the face of the Western developed and powerful society,the Chinese scholars lost their self-confidence they should have to such an extent as to be bent solely on the Western academic thoughts and to playiarize them in disguised form.2.Amorphism,which denied the traditional cultures,was in vogue but scholars did not consider it loss.The above two causes were enough to lead to the impossibility that there arose any thinking creation of world rank in the Chinese academic circles in the 20th century.We cannot but say that it was a great regret.There is not direct causal relation between economic development and academic development.A great master of thought can all the same appear in a backward country in economics.The crux of the matter is to remove some external-culture worship and create the internal self-confidence so as to become a common practice of creative thinking-this is the inspiration we draw from the regret over the Chinese academic circles in the 20th century.

20世纪中国学术界没有产生世界级的思想大师 ,这与中国学术界流行的指导思想和学术风气有关。其一是“思想抄袭”普遍而不以之为耻。自五四以降 ,中国学术界就一直处于西方学术的霸权话语统治之下 ,在西方发达和强大的社会面前 ,中国学者失去了应有的自信 ,唯西方学术的马头是瞻 ,变相抄袭西方的思想。其二是否定传统的文化虚无主义盛行而不以之为失。有这两个原因 ,就足以导致 2 0世纪的中国学术界不可能出现世界级的思想创造 ,这不能不说是中国学术界在 2 0世纪的一大遗憾。经济的发展与学术的发展之间并无直接的因果关系 ,经济落后的国家照样可以出思想大师 ,关键的问题是要消除对某种外在文化的崇拜 ,树立起内在的自信心 ,形成一种创造性思维的环境 ,这便是 2 0世纪中国学术界的遗憾带给我们的启示
