    The regionalization expression of cardiac genes in the myocardium is a common phenomina, and a remarkable progress has made in the study of transgenes on transcriptional potential in the myocardium. The atrial and ventricular transcriptional regionalization is initialed in a linear heart. Afterwards, the regionalization expression of transgenes can be found in the whole fetal heart. Recently, research on the molecular basis of regionalization has been focused on the definition of cis-acting elements (and trans-acting factor) in the regulatory regions of transgenes, and the expression patterns and functional analysis of important genes for trancription in cardiomyocytes.
