A new method for separating the absolute retardation fringes by using polarizingholography is presented.With this method the Nisida's pattern and the two-family abso-lute retardation fringes can be directly observed through a single double-exposure hologram.If a linear polarizer is placed between the hologram and the observer,while the polarizeris being rotated,the absolute retardation fringes on those points where the transmissionaxis of the polarizer is parallel to a principal stress can also be observed,so...

A new method for separating the absolute retardation fringes by using polarizingholography is presented.With this method the Nisida's pattern and the two-family abso-lute retardation fringes can be directly observed through a single double-exposure hologram.If a linear polarizer is placed between the hologram and the observer,while the polarizeris being rotated,the absolute retardation fringes on those points where the transmissionaxis of the polarizer is parallel to a principal stress can also be observed,so the two-family absolute retardation fringes can be separated accurately in the whole model.The general expression for the light intensity of the reconstructed virtual image throughthe polarizer is derived by using Jones vector and matrix calculus.Finally experimentalresults are presented.

本文提出了一种利用偏振全息术以分离绝对程差条纹的新方法.此法只需一张两次曝光的全息图就能直接观察到两族绝对程差条纹及其迭加图案.若在全息图和观察者之间放置一线性偏振镜,当转动偏振镜时,还能观察到偏振镜的透射轴与一个主应力方向平行的那些点的绝对程差条纹,从而能在整个模型上精确地分离两个绝对程差条纹族.文中利用Jones 矢量和矩阵的运算,导出了通过偏振镜观察全息图时再现虚象光强的一般表达式,最后提供了实验证明.

It is shown that the absolute retardation friages be separatel by using polarization holography with circuarly polarized object wave. The isochromatic term contained in the equation for the intenity of the reconstructed virtual image, however, can only be elliminated by retating a linear polarizer between the hologram and the observer. In the present paper another method of polarization holo raphy with Copolarized object wave is proposed, by which the isochromatic term containd in the lisht intensity equation...

绝对程差条纹可以用园偏振光作物光的偏振全息术进行分离。但是,在再现虚像的光强表达式中存在的等差项只能用转动全息图与观察者之间的偏振镜才能消除。本文提出另一种用消偏振的光作物光的偏振全息术,由此导出的光强表达式中,等差项完全被消去了。若分别用两个参考光照射用此法拍摄的一张两次曝光的全息图,也能分离两个绝对程差条纹族。
