Two novel synthetic thickeners, KG-401 and Ahoprint RTA, were compared for their thickening effect and electrolyte resistance. The oretical principles were established for applicators to replace traditional alginate with the synthetic thickeners.

本文对两种新型活性染料印花用合成增稠剂KG—401和ALCOPRINT RTA的增稠效果及耐电解质性能等方面作了比较研究。为广大印花工作者采用合成增稠剂替代传统的海藻酸钠的新工艺提供了理论依据。

The synthesis,technical specification and application of the title thickener have been described.The influence of varieties and dosage of emulsifier, types and ratio of monomers, crosslinking agent and pH value of the system on the effects of thickening were discussed. Experimentally, it has been shown that the thickening effect of this thickener is more than 3 times of the Jr thickener and helpful to the pigment dispersion.
