The article analyses the working state of turning woodruff key clutch used in presses. The article analyses the working state of turning woodruff key clutch used in presses. When designing a cluth, it proposes, the optimal working angle of the turning key should be decided first, and then, the strength of the turning key be checked, so that the load capacities of the parts of a clutch, i.e, the turning key and the middle sleeve,could be brought into full play. According to the concept that the safe level of the bending strength of the turning key is equal to that of the pressing strength of the middle sleeve, the theoretical formulation and the graphic method of deciding the optimal working angle of the turning key are deduced. The article points out that the working angle of the turning key in the existing presses is too big and that if the working angle of the turning key is decreased from 45° to 28°--31°, we can bring the load capacity of the clutch into full play, decrease the bending deformation of the turning key, and raise the uniformity of pressing stress as well. The article also points out that the braking angle of the existing woodruff turning key clutch is very small, which is unfavourable to the design and the work of a brake. Thus, the main demension of the turning key clutch should be modified in order to improve the working conditions of the brake, and raise the efficiency of the press.

本文分析了压力机半圆形转键离合器的工作情况。提出设计离合器时,应首先确定转键最佳工作转角,再校核转键强度,以便充分发挥离合器主要零件转键与中套的承载能力。按转键弯曲强度裕度和中套的挤压强度裕度相等的概念,推导了确定转键最佳工作转角的理论公式。指出现有压力机转键工作转角若从现在的45°减小到28°—31°,则可充分发挥离合器的承载能力,减小转键的弯曲变形,提高挤压应力的均匀性。并指出现有转键离合器能提供的制动角很小,导至压力机曲轴上允许的制动角仅有1.3°~5.2°,这对制动器设计和工作不利,应修改现有转键离合器的主要尺寸,使离合器能提供较大的制动角,以改善制动器的工作条件,提高压力机的效率。

In this paper, the author suggests that in addition to the coefficient of fric-tion which has been conventionally used for evaluating the performance of the fri-ction disc of the brake, we can also evaluate it by using the braking power perunit area of the brake disc. This is rather a new conception. It seems to be a morereasonable parameter to be used in brake design, as compared with the currentlyused parameter of car weight sustained by unit friction area. In this paper the deduction of formulas for the brake effective factor is given.,With the same accuracy the calculation of the factor for drum brakes is greatly reduced. So this paper may be helpful to brake designers.

本文对整个制动器制动效能因数K的计算式进行了推导和论述,在计算精确度相同的情况下,对蹄式制动效能因数的计算式大为简化,在制动器的设计计算中,具有参考的实用价值。
