The hanger anchoring system for the main bridge of Lhasa River Bridge is designed as a type of tensile anchor housing structure. This paper presents the anchoring of the structure inside the concrete-filled steel tube arch rib and concrete girder,and the dynamic and static tests made for the welding of the structure itself in order to verify if its bearing capacity and fatigue performance can meet the design requirement.

The design scheme of steel anchor box of Fo Chen bridge is introduced in this paper. Through finite element analysis, the stress distribution of the anchor box is obtained, which shows that the stress level of the anchor box is quite high and the design of the anchor box should be improved. Finally the suggestions of such a structure design are given.
