Tube plantlets received by tissue culture of 6 clones of 4 Chinese wild grape species, 2 interspecific hybrids, 5 table grape cultivars,S rootstock cultivars and 1 wine grape cultivar were incubated in media with different NaCl concentrations for studying their salt tolerance .
In our lab , By mRNA DDRT-PCR (mRNA differential display reverse transcription-PCR ) and RACE (Rapid amplification of cDNA ends ) , the STS gene and ALDH gene of Chinese wild grape was cloned and separated from Vitis pseudoreticulata Baihe-35-1 , which has a high resistance to Uncinula necator schw. Ovules from seedless grapes, seeded grapes and hybrids(Seedless grapes×Chinese wild grapes) were cultivated in vitro. Some phytochemical components in ovules were determined. Embryo abortion development was different in cultivars and hybrids.
Two interspecific crosses [ V.quinquangularis (resistant)× V.vinifera (susceptible)]88-110 and 88-84 were analyzed. Three F 2 progenies resulting from three crosses of self cross and inter cross of 88-110 F 1 seedlings,as well as cultivars of V.vinifera and the wild grapes native to China were chosen for test too.
