The regeneration extent of strong base type anion resins of treatment with NaOHsolution has been studied. The relationship between the regeneration conditions includingNaOH solution concentration, amount, flow rate, and the regeneration extent, thecracking of anion resins is given. It has been found that the appropriate conditionsare as follow: (1) The volume of NaOH solution with concentration of 4-8% should be 2-4times the volume of resins. The brackish water containing salts 13—14g/l was treated by this ion-exchange resin, satisfying results were obtained and product water cantains salt≤2.0g/l.
