The appearances of fractosurfaces simulated at various testing temperatures were obtained. Fracture of the hub was brittle intergranular fracture at high temperature. Local fracture temperature approached the materials binary...

Local fracture temperature approached the materials binary eutectic temperature. Laboratory examination and airfield investigation results indicated that the failure of the hub was not related to metallurgical quality, but to the small assembling gap of the landing bearing system. It induced poor lubrication, scratch and high temperature crack of the bearing component and the hub. The small assembling gap of the bearing system was considered to be the basic cause of the aircraft landing gear hub failure at high temperature.

Then, the potential defects were forecasted. The formation mechanium was analyzed considering the (unique) character of magnesium alloy. The reasons leading to them were given and the solutions were put forward....

运用软件PAM-CASTTM对镁合金轮毂的低压铸造过程进行了数值模拟,研究了填充和凝固过程中温度场、流场以及液体分数等主要参数的分布,预测在此过程中可能出现的各种缺陷.结合镁合金独特的物理性能,分析了这些缺陷的形成机理,给出抑制这些缺陷的方法和措施.发现通过降低浇注速度,可有效地消除在浇铸过程中所产生的气孔和部分缩孔缺陷,以获得高质量的镁合金铸件.

The temperature and stress fields of a magnesium wheel casting were analyzed by integrated FDM/FEM analysis system. The results of simulation were in good agreement with those from experimentation. Some suggestions were made to reduce the casting crack.

采用FDM/FEM集成应力分析系统模拟了低压铸造镁合金轮毂的温度场和热应力场。模拟结果显示应力集中位置主要为轮辐-轮辐连接处、轮辐-轮辋连接处、轮辐-轴孔连接处,模拟结果与试制轮毂铸造裂纹多发位置基本吻合。基于模拟结果,对轮毂结构提出改进意见。
