This paper is mostly concerning the possibility of polypropylene composite filled with liyang's wollastomite which is untreated by coupling agent. Composite of PP/PE/wollastonite is formed through a specific process Experimental results show that this composite has good comprehensive properties. Liyang's wollastonite can be used not only as a fillar, but also as a impact and processing modifier. It is proved that PP composite filled with liyang's wollastonite is fully practicable.

本文主要研究了未经偶联处理的溧阳硅灰石粉填充聚丙烯的可能性。通过特定的加工过程,形成了PP/PE/硅灰石粉复合体系。实验结果表明,该复合体系有很好的综合性能,溧阳硅灰石粉不仅可以作为填充剂,而且可作为抗冲改性剂和加工改性剂使用。证明溧阳硅灰石填充PP是完全可行的。

The impact strength, Gc (critical strain energy releasing rate)and Kc (critical stress strength factor)of the samples containing CaCO_3 from 1O wt% to 40 wt% were measured. The results showed that the fracture toughness of the above mentioned CaCO_3 filled PP was higher than that of pure PP, and the fracture toughness was maximum when the CaCO_3 content was 20~30 wt%. The wollastonite encapsulated by polyethylene glycol (PEG) have been used to increase the notched-impact strength and to improve the low-temperature properties of polypropylene (PP). The influence of the amount and the molecular weight of PEG on the properties of filled PP has been investigated. And, the sectional morphology and crystalline state of PP Composite has been disscued.
