However,the capability of power supply is too lim ited to satisfy the demand,which leads to the outstanding contradiction between the supply and the demand.Based on a plenty of marketinvestigation and research,and deep study on the abundant data of weather and load from 1996 to 1999,this paper analyzes the characteristic of temperature- sensitive load and its variation rules,which makes up of the rapid increasing partof the whole load. Som e useful conclusions can be drawn that the type of summ er and m acroscopical econom y conditions are the main factors to affect the m ovement rules of tem perature- sensitive load,towards which the load of residents m akes a m ajor contribution.
