This paper presents the application of methanol (M 100) as a fuelfor 4- and 2-stroke automotives spark-ignition engine.Experimental results demons-trate,that application of methanol as fuels for ICE is favourable for comprehensiveutilization of energy resources and is convenient to rebuild the methanol engine fromtraditional internal combustion engine.

本文对火花点火单缸试验机燃用甲醇燃料的燃烧特性作了研究。根据甲醇燃料汽化潜热大,着火温度高,冷起动困难等特点,提出了在甲醇—空气混合气中添加少量氢气,作为助燃剂,以寻求火花点火发动机燃用甲醇代用燃料的途径。试验表明,这样做改善了甲醇燃料的燃烧性能,提高了发动机的热效率、经济性和排放特性。
