A laser microspectral technique was used to characterize silver-bearing minerals on a thin section with the aid of microscopic examination. Several hundred points with equal distances between were tested on the assigned area. Eight silver minerals have been found in the samples from Xiangguang manganese silver mineral deposit. This technique should be of value for the examination of the existing state of elements.

采用激光显微光谱分析法,配合岩矿鉴定,对选定的各种矿物进行激光取样分析查寻银矿物,成功地确定辉银矿、溴角银矿、自然银、银金矿等八种银的矿物。又在选好的光薄片上沿直线等距离多点取样分析,基本查清了锰银矿石中各种脉石矿物的含银性。从而肯定了河北省相广锰银矿石中的银,既呈单矿物又呈分散状态存在。通过这一研究,说明激光显微光谱分析在矿石物质组成和元素赋存状态研究中可以发挥重要作用。
