Separating Maxwell Equations and electromagnetic fields into transverse and longitudinal components,we derive brief wave equations of the longitudinal electric field and magnetic field for arbitrary cross section chiroplasma filled cylindrical waveguides.The general relations between the transverse and longitudinal field components are also derived.For a detailed and common use example,we study a partial chiroplasma filled circular cylindrical waveguide.Its dispersion equation is derived.Numerical solution of this equation gives dispersion curves of HE 11 , EH 01 and HE 21 modes.Investigation shows that the propagation constant of EH 01 mode derceases with the increase of the chiroplama filled region,and also decreases with the increase of the chirality admittance.
