A strong convective process has been analysed by using the data of radar echo. It is found that the convergence lines formed by the topography, which are confluent between the meso-scale strong SW flow from the valley of Changjiang River and the basic SE flow, are a meso-scale triggering mechanism of convective motion. Therefore, the convective storms in this strong SW flow are developed more strongly by the supply of warm and moist air in the low level.

In this Paper, it is summarized that the research made in the recent years on the occurance and evolution of mcsoscale convective storm, and the clue to the forecast are given.

归纳了近几年关于中尺度对流风暴的发生条件和发展演变原因的研完成果,并提出了预报着眼点。
