In August 1979, field test with one kind of Asian corn borer sex pheromone and three kinds of European corn borer pheromone, with different ratio of its mixing components, was conducted in corn field near by Xiuchang. The results showed that the Asian borer sex pheromone (Z)-12-tetradecen-l-ol acetate, (E)-12-tetradecen-l-ol acetate and tetradecyl acetate 34:39:27 tested for 11 days, using 132 pan-times, 71 moths were captured, the effect was significant. In August 1979, field test with one kind of Asian corn borer sex pheromone and three kinds of European corn borer pheromone, with different ratio of its mixing components, was conducted in corn field near by Xiuchang. The results showed that the Asian borer sex pheromone (Z)-12-tetradecen-l-ol acetate, (E)-12-tetradecen-l-ol acetate and tetradecyl acetate 34:39:27 tested for 11 days, using 132 pan-times, 71 moths were captured, the effect was significant. When European borer sex pheromone (Z)-and (E)-ll-tetradecen-l-ol acetate 97:3 and 3:97 were used, only 3 moths were captured for the former and 2 moths were attracted by the later, indicating these pheromones have certain active capacity. But, European borer sex pheromone (Z)-and (E)-ll-tetradecen-l-ol acetate 35:65 captured none of the moths, indicating it has no any active capacity. Therefore it maybe concluded that: (1) the corn borers in Xiuchang region of Henan Province are mainly Asian corn borers, whether there are European corn borers or not, further study and identification of large number of specimens are needed; (2) rubber septa impregnated with sex pheromone has better effect than those impregnated in capillaries, and (3) the effect of using water-basin traps is better than using "Pherocon" traps.

为了澄清中国玉米螟的种名,1979年8月,我们用一种亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis(Guen(?)e)和三种欧洲玉米螟O.nubilalis(H(?)bner)不同配比的性诱剂,在河南许昌作了田间诱捕试验。试验结果表明:亚洲玉米螟性诱剂顺12-和反12-十四烯醇乙酸醑及醋酸十四(烷)醇34∶39∶27,11天132盆次共诱到71头蛾,效果良好:欧洲玉米螟性诱剂顺11-和反11-十四烯醇乙酸酯97∶3和3∶97,前者共诱到3头蛾,后者共诱到2头蛾,有一定活性:而欧洲玉米螟性诱剂顺11-和反11-十四烯醇乙酸酯35∶65没有诱到蛾,无话性。因此,初步证明:(1)河南许昌的玉米螟主要为亚洲玉米螟,至于是否有欧洲玉米螟存在,须进一步作试验和对标本进行鉴定后才能确定:(2)性诱剂装在橡皮塞内的效果优于装在毛细管内的效果;(3)用诱蛾水盆比用“非洛康”捕蛾器纸盆效果好。

Filtrates produce by isolates of Bipolaris maydis race O were with high biological activities obviously Inhibited primary root growth of 15 inbred lines and also induced typical symptom of southern leaf blight on the young seedlings and in vitro leaves. The resistance of inbred lines to filtrates was closely related to the resistance to pathogen. Also,the filtrate of race O was highly acfive to cause death of corn root cap cells. Therefore, according to the above results,the substrate with high biological activities in filtrates of race O was considered to be race O toxin.

中国玉米小斑病菌(Bipolaris maydis)小种培养滤液含有活性较强的生理活性物质,对供试15个自交系种子根生长具有明显的抑制作用;可诱导幼苗和离体叶片产生典型的小斑病症状,自交系对培养滤液致病作用的抵抗性与幼苗对病菌的致病性密切相关;O小种培养滤液对玉米根冠细胞具有强烈的致死作用,根冠细胞对培养滤液的敏感性与幼苗对病菌的感病性间存在明显的正相关。据此,初步认为O小种滤液中的生理活性物质为O毒素。

前人对中国玉米栽培史作了大量研究工作;然而,玉米是中国原生植物还是引种作物,其在本土栽培的历史或引种传入中国的时间及途径等,至今还是未有公论、有待继续研究的课题。该文系统述评前人研究所得出的诸多观点后,认为中国也是玉米原产地之一,而国外玉米的传入则是多渠道的。
