    This paper introduces the effects on the accuracy of the profile of teeth produced by the reduction in diameter that results from the wearingdown and dressing of the abrasive wheel when the profile grinding of cylinirical helical gears is carried out, presents a new method of adopting the constant-diameter wheel grinding, and designs and trial-produces two kinds of assembled constant-diameter abrasive wheel. It is verified through the test of the abrasive wheel in i'ts stationary and dynamic state that the constant-diameter abrasive wheel, in addition to the fact that it can reach the same standards set for the abrasive wheel as a whole in terms of its rigidity,strength,accuracy of the grinding gears and its surface qualitied, also possess the following advantages: its diameter can be accurately compensated for, its grinding efficiency is higher than the abrasive wheel as a whole, its grinding temperature is lower, etc. Therefore, it can be assumed that the study and application of the constant-diameter abrasive wheel will lead to an efficient yet economical method for improving the accuracy of the profile grinding of helical gears and open a new way in the technology of dealing with such problems as the high-proeision curve surface grinding which demands variations in the diameter of the abrasive wheel

    本文介绍了成形磨削圆柱斜齿轮时,砂轮磨损和修正所引起的直径减小量对齿形加工精度的影响,提出了采用定直径砂轮磨削的新方法,并在国内外开槽砂轮和爪式卡盘研究与实践的基础上,结合国内的现行生产条件设计和试制了两种组合式静态调整的定直径砂轮。经过对其静、动态特性的理论分析和与整体砂轮作比较的磨削性能试验证明,定直径砂轮除在刚度、强度、磨齿精度和表面质量等方面都可以达到与整体砂轮相同的性能外,还具有直径可精确补偿和比整体砂轮磨削率高、磨削热低等特点。因此可以认为,定直径砂轮的研制和应用将为提高斜齿轮成形磨削精度提供一个有效而经济的新方法,并为解决类似一些对砂轮直径变化有要求的高精度曲面磨削加工在工艺上开辟一个新的途径。

In this paper, an approximaton of optimized involute is presented, thus making the profile of the form grinding wheel more accurate and having practival significance for improving the machining quality of helical gears.
