In this paper, the result of experiments for effect of photoperiod and temperature on the development and diapause were described.The developmental speed of the egg, larva, prepupa and pupa was related to temperature closely. The threshold developmental temperature and the sum of effective developmental temperature of egg, larva, pre pupa and pupa were 14.08, 26.3; 10.79, 177.84; 13.63, 36.70 and 11.5°C, 145.39 day degree respectively.Diapause occured at prepupa stage, being induced by short photoperiod and low temperature in prior stages. The interaction efficiency was significant between these two factors. when prolonged the light duration and raised up the temperature, the rate of diapause will be decreased, then no diapause occured. So it is considered as the facultation diapause.The threshold value of temperature and photoperiod inducing the diapause rates ranged from 50% to 90% were 25.4-23.3℃ in 13 hours and 18.3-14.5℃ in 16 hours. It indicated as a narrow threshold zone.It is assumed that the populations from various regions were exchanged each other by long range migrations, which consisted to an identical geographical population. An available overwintering zone was delimited, depend upon the conditions induced diapause. The population of overwintering gereration from this zone will be the major originated source of the annual population development over the whole geographical region.

本文以光照周期和温度与发育、滞育关系的试验为基础,探讨了草地螟的滞育诱导因素和临界条件,以探索越冬虫源。证实草地螟在前蛹期可出现滞育,其主要诱导因素为当代幼虫期的光照周期和温度,这两者有交互作用,趋向高适温和长光照时滞育比率降低,直至不出现滞育,属兼性滞育。计算出滞育比率在50—90%之间的相应条件光照周期为13、16小时,温度为25.4—23.3℃、18.3—14.5℃。认为这一范围即为滞育临界区。讨论提出我国北方各地草地螟种群,通过迁飞互相渗透,成为同一地理种群,在其分布区内存在着适于越冬的地带。这一地带的虫源成为我国周年种群发生和长周期发展消长的基础。

为防治农林害虫而需要大量繁殖赤眼蜂时,蜂种的长期贮存是重要的环节,而只有处于稳定滞育状态的个体才能经长期冷藏后再受复苏处理而不失其活力。我们采用希略赫基契诱导广赤眼蜂 Trichogromma evanescens 滞育及快速检验滞育稳定与否的方法,对我国四种赤眼蜂进行的试验表明:寄生于不同寄主的不同赤眼蜂种类受滞育诱导的反应是不同的,只有寄生于麦蛾卵内的稻螟赤眼蜂 T.japonicum、亚洲玉米螟赤眼蜂 T.ostriniae 和松毛虫赤眼蜂 T.dendrolimi 在蜂幼虫末期分别受恒温8.10℃,8℃,8.10℃处理30天可获得相应为81.2~89.5%,63.8%,96.9~97.9%的滞育预蛹;它们在米蛾卵内或松毛虫赤眼蜂在柞蚕卵内均无高于50%的滞育预蛹;而拟澳洲赤眼蜂 T.confusum 在上述三种寄主卵内能受诱导而进入滞育的预蛹比例极低(0~40.9%)。此类与寄主有关的滞育研究尚属首次。

对我国松毛虫赤眼蜂北方的吉林种群和南方的浙江种群,以麦蛾卵作寄主养,利用低温、短光照诱导滞育,比较两种群对滞育诱导反应的差异。虽然两种群的滞育率始终都较低,在5~33%之间波动,但结果仍表明,吉林种群比浙江种群对滞育诱导更为敏感,滞育率在一些代次中显著为高。但同时种群内代次间滞育率有显著差异,导致有些代次内两种群间的滞育率差异不显著。作为本系列论文的最后一篇,本文还对我国松毛虫赤眼蜂种下变异的状况及其影响因子、种群间生物学特性比较试验的方法问题等做了简要讨论。
