This paper reports the technology and heat analyais of an experimental devicefor obtaining temperature of 1 K level by ~4He. Experiments show 1.17 K has been at-tained with this device. The radial temperature profile of the experimental dewar hasbeen measured. The device has already been used successfully in the study of compositematerials and the calibration of thermometers belowλ point of liquid helium.
