Ladle crane main trolley with fully enclosed transmission can prolong the life time of the trolley andimprove its safety performance. This article analyses the layout of main trolley with the view of satisfactionof maximum application range as well as best operation performance with minimum trolley weight andenergy consumption. Protection measures to the load sensor are considered and the error of load weighing isanalysed.

This paper describes the construction and working principal of thecontrol system, introduces the construction of the pneumatic expansion brake and its calculation.

In recent years, quite a few ladle cranes with new design were developed at the Dalian Crane Works. This paper introduces a 75/20t ladle crane designed and manufactured for Tangshan Iron and Steel Corporation. The erane newly designed lifting mechanism and travelling mechanism are described. The constructive features of four girder four railed, four girder six railed and twin girder four railed cranes are listed with the best choice given to the twin girder four railed design.

大连起重机器厂近年设计生产多台结构新颖的铸造起重机。本文以为唐山钢铁公司设计制造的75/20t铸造起重机为例,介绍它的新型起升机构与大车运行机构;列举了四梁四轨式、四梁六轨式和双梁四轨式结构的特点,认为双梁四轨式是最佳选择。
