[Results] Under the pre-pressure of 300 N, the compressing stiffness of control group, ACINFN group, A - P Gamma Nail group were (1 568±366), (1 167±92), and (224±66) N/mm, respectively. There were significant differences between 3 groups (F=85, P < 0. 01);
Methods 180cases(181hips)of per-itrochanteric fractures treated wi th intramedullary nails from Dec,1993to Sep,2001were reviewed,includ ing 96cases of Asia -Pacific Gamma nails,54cases of reconstruction nails and 30cases of PFN.
Methods 85 aged patients with intertrochanteric femoral fractures were treated in our department from January 1997 to October 2002. According to Evans classification system, there were 8 stable ones and 77 unstable ones. 20 cases were fixed with Gamma nails, 25 with reconstruction intramedullary nails, 40 with Dynamic HIP Screw(DHS) and Dynamic Condylar Screw(DCS).
Objective To observe the clinical results of Gamma nails in treatment of intertrochanteric fractures in patients over 60 years old and evaluate the clinical advantages and disadvantages of Gamma nails in comparison of traditional DHS(dynamic hip screw).
Methods 66 patients with intertrochanteric fractures underwent Gamma nailing (40 Gamma-AP and 26 Gamma-3) under fluoronavigation guidance. An observer recorded the different intra-operative parameters.
Objective To illustrate the application of fluoronavigation in Gamma nailing—a common surgical procedure in treatment of intertrochanteric fracture of femur and to compare the newly designed Gamma-3 system for navigation with the Gamma-AP system.
Methods Forty-five patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur were treated with the Gamma locking nail during January 1998 to December 2003. In these patients there were EvansⅠin 5 cases and Evans Ⅱin 8 cases. Evans ⅢA and Evans ⅢB were 12 cases respectively and Evans Ⅳ were 8 cases. All of the 45 patients were followed up over 12 months.
Objective To compare the clinical effects of 3i nternal fixation devices,130°comp res-sion-plate,Richards screw-plate system and Gamma locking nail,in tre atment of intertrochanteric fractu res of femur in order to provide evidence fo r clinical choice.
