A laser vision sensing based on the adaptive tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding system for large-scale aluminum alloy components was established to fit various weld groove conditions.
      


The methodology of real time image processing of laser vision sensing seam tracking system has been studied. For the key technology in laser stripe extraction and character point detection, feasible method has been proposed. It can get good effect and its processing speed is fast, which shows it can meet the demand of real time seam tracking system.

激光视觉传感焊缝跟踪实时图像处理的方法进行了研究 ,就其中的关键技术——激光带中心的抽取和特征点的检测提出了切实可行的方法。该处理方法效果好 ,处理速度快 ,能够满足跟踪系统的实时性要求。

A laser vision sensing based adaptive TIG welding system for large-scale aluminum alloy components was established to fit for the variety of weld groove conditions.A new type laser vision sensor was used to pre- cisely measure the weld groove.The joint geometry data,such as bevel angle,gap,area,mismatch and etc, could be used in assembling large-scale aerospace components before welding and were applied for automatic seam tracking in welding.An adaptive welding process is realized by automatically adjusting the wire feeding speed and the welding current according to the groove conditions,with good weld formation and high welding quality which meet the requirements of the relative standards.

为了适应大型铝合金构件TIG焊接坡口状态的变化,建立了基于激光视觉传感的自适应焊接系统.系统采用新型激光视觉传感器精确测量焊缝坡口,获得焊缝坡口角度、间隙、截面积和错边等几何信息,可用于焊前辅助大型航天构件的装配,以及焊接过程中焊缝自动跟踪.该系统根据坡口状况自动调整焊接电流、送丝速度等工艺参数,实现了焊接过程的自适应控制,焊接成形良好,焊接质量符合相关标准要求.
