In vitro, the inhibitory potency of fordine on mouse brain or erythrocyte AChE and on porcine brain immobilized AChE was thousand times higher than that on BuChE in the blood and serum of mouse. In vivo, the recovery of mouse AChE inhibited by fordine was significantly delayed than that inhibited by CuiXingNing. The inhibition of ChE by fordine showed a mixed pattern of both competitive and non-competitive inhibitions....
