The present paper studies mathematically the method of calculating interfacial tension by curve fitting to the picture of sessile drop. This paper presents a com- putation method and program for calculation of interfacial tension, contact angle and volume of the liquid drop from the coordinate of meridian of sessile drop. The error of measurement of interracial tension by the sessile drop method is dis- cussed in this paper.
