Silkworm (Bombyx mori) cells are characterized by the ability to synthesize heat shock proteins (hsps) at exceptionally high temperatures (up to 48° C).

No changes were observed during the early stage of infection. However, 48 hrs postinfection,when the polyhedrosis inclusion bodies occured within the nucleus, we found the number of microfilaments decreased and some of the microfilaments gradually disintegrated. While in the later stage of infection,the microfilaments gathered again. They rearranged to stress fibers in peripheral areas of the cell membrane or reformed irregular lattice. The phenomena we observed in insect cells infected with virus is very similar to that of vertebrate cells.

本文报道了Ac-NPV感染家蚕细胞后微丝系统的变化。结果表明:在感染早期,细胞核内没有出现明显病变,细胞质中的微丝系统没有明显变化。感染48小时之后,受感染细胞核膨大,核内出现多角体时,细胞质中的微丝出现部分解聚。在感染晚期,细胞质中的微丝又发生聚集和重排,形成较粗的纤维于细胞质膜的内周,或者有的重新形成不规则的网格。

The paper reports observations on a cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus (CPV) from Bombyx mori infecting Bombyx mori cells (Bm-N)by electron microscopy. In the early stage of infection, the electron dense virogenic stroma containing virions formed in the cytoplasm of infected cells. Inclusion bodies appea- red at periphery of the virogenic stroma at 48hr after infection. The large number of virions randomly embedded within the polyhedrin matrix. Polyhedra were tri-gonal, tetragonal, pentagonal and hexagonal in shape....

本文报道了BmCPV感染家蚕细胞系后的电镜观察。病毒感染早期,细胞质内形成电子致密的病毒发生基质,由病毒发生基质形成BmCPV球状病毒粒子;病毒感染48小时后,多角体在病毒发生基质周围形成,大量的病毒粒子随机包埋在多角体内;病毒接种后96小时,多角体数目增多,其形状有三角,四角,五角及六角形,细胞质内充盈多角体致使细胞核被挤向细胞一侧并伴有形态的改变,受染细胞约为40%。

The paper reports the observation of cell surface of cultured cells from spodoptera litura, spodoptera frugiperda and Bombyx mori by using scanning electron microscores. The study revealed that three insect cells tested were ewveloped with microvillrs on cell surface. Number of microvillus of BmN cells were more than that of SL-1 and sf-9 cells. After challenged with BmNPV number of microvillus on cell surface of Bran cell apperantlly, increased. Therefore we can conclude that there are extensively microvillus...

斜纹夜蛾、草地贪夜蛾及家蚕三种昆虫培养细胞表面的扫描电镜研究揭示:三种细胞表面披有微毛结构,家蚕细胞表面覆盖微毛较斜纹夜蛾与草地贪夜蛾细胞多。家蚕细胞经BmNPV攻毒后,微毛数量增加,微绒毛是昆虫培养细胞表面广泛存在的特化结构。
