Using Bogoliubov-Mitropolskii asymptotic method, they are reduced to a set of first order differential equation which can be solved with numerical integration.In this paper the influences of the asymmetry of shaft and the initial phase angle of static unbalance on the stability of stationary vibration of the system are discussed too. The curves of maximum transient amplitude with respect to different parameters have been obtained and these results can be applied to calculating dynamic stress and designing rotating machinery.
