The anomalous pollen grains in vivo at the frequencies of 2.61% and 6.81% respectively were found in anthers of two hybrid materials of wheat from which we had obtained the higher frequencies of induction of pollen embryos in anther culture in.the past few years.This indicated that the pollen dimorphism also presented itself in the anthers on wheat plants.A comparative cytological study of develop- ment of anomalous pollen grains in vivo and of the early stages of the formation of pollen embryos in vitro was carried out and the results suggest that in cytological details there is an obvious similarity between them.This reveals the possibility that the pollen embryos night derive itself from the anomalous pollen grains in wheat as in the other plants.Therefore,it was considered that the appearance and frequency of the anomalous pollen grains could show the sensibility of the development of microspores to the changes of various internal and external factors.The significance of the sensibility for the formation of pollen embryos in anther culture of wheat is discussed.

The present paper is a report on the systematic investigations on the morphology fertility and cytology in six combinations of interspecific F1 hybrids between common wheat and tetraploid wheat. Ten typical F2 plants(T. aestivum L. ×. T. durum L.) were also investigated. The present paper is a report on the systematic investigations on the morphology fertility and cytology in six combinations of interspecific F1 hybrids between common wheat and tetraploid wheat. Ten typical F2 plants(T. aestivum L. ×. T. durum L.) were also investigated. Among other things many chromosome aberrations occurred in the meiosis of pentaploid hybrids, however there were no distinct differences among different combinations and between reciprocal crosses.The investigations of ten F, hybrids showed that there was a direct relationship between chromosome behavior and fertility, i. e. when the chromosome behavior was more or less normal, the fertility would be correspondingly higher, and conversely, the fertility would be lower when the chromosome behavior was irregular. In addition, some morphological characters could be looked upon as an important basis for the identification of the ploidy of plants, but it would be difficult to identify when the fertility was poor. It seems that cytological studies of typical plants of early generations of distant crosses would be of value in breeding work.

本工作对普通小麦与若干四倍体小麦杂交六个组合的杂种一代及(普通小麦×硬粒小麦)杂种二代的十个典型单株进行了植株形态、育性和细胞学的综合观察。看到五倍体杂种一代减数分裂过程中的各种异常现象,但未见不同组合之间及正反交组合之间有明显差别。对(农大168×D_82))杂种二代典型单株的观察表明,染色体行为和结实率间有直接关系:染色体行为正常,结实率高,染色体行为失常则结实率低。同时看到某些植株形态特征可以作为判断单株染色体倍数的重要根据。但对一些育性偏低的材料,则难以判断其染色体倍数趋势。远缘杂交中对早代重点单株进行细胞学观察对提高后代选育的准确性有一定意义。

A total of 62 green plantlets were obtained from 2881 anthers of F1 hybrid between hexaploid triticale Rosner and common wheat Kedong 58 through anther culture. The results of cytogenetical study on the pollen plants as follows:1. The chromosome number of pollen plantsTwenty-seven green plants had been observed and then were classified into three types based on their chromosome numbers.1) 17 aneuploid plants: the plants with 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 46 chromosomes and their frequencies are 1, 3, 3, 4, 1, 1...

In haploid plants, most of the chromosome were univalents; and in the diploids, bivalents.3. The chromosome composition of 12 aneuploid and haploid plants was identified by Giemsa banding technique. In these plants chromosome number in rye varied from 2 to 7: and that in wheat, from 18 to 21.The chromosome compositions were quite different among the plants with the same number of chromosomes. For example, all three plants contained 23 chromosomes but they contained 3, 4, 5 chromosomes from rye and 20, 19, 18 from wheat respectively.Using the same material nine types of different aneuploid and mixoploid pollen plants could be obtained through anther culture and only four types of diploid and aneuploid plants were obtained in the F2 population.The chromosome composition of hexaploid triticale Rosner is AABBRR, including of a full set of rye chromosomes. In F1 hybrid of Rosner and Kedong 58, the chromosome composition was AABBDR. After meiosis F1 univalents of DR will be distributed into gametes with possibilities of 0-7, and pollen grains with different chromosome compositions.Results on chromosome numbers, PMC chromosome configurations and chromosome compositions of pollen plants show that various chromosome composition of F1 pollens might be expressed at plant level by using F1 hybrid with AABBDR chromosome composition as the material through anther culture. The plants with different kinds of DR mixed chromosome compositions might be produced through anther culture. They will be valuable for chromosome engineering and breeding practice after chromosome doubling.

用六倍体小黑麦Rosner与普通小麦科冬58的杂种F_1为材料进行了花药培养。观察了27株花粉植株根尖细胞的染色体,其中有17株非整倍体、9株混倍体和1株单倍体。从花粉植株PMC的染色体构型表明,在单倍水平的植株中以单价体为主,在二倍水平植株中以二价体为主。用Giemsa显带技术鉴定花粉植株的染色体组成,其中黑麦染色体为2—7条,小麦染色体为18—21条。提示用花药培养的方法,可以将六倍体小黑麦与普通小麦杂种F_1理论上可以形成的花粉的染色体组成在植株水平显现出来。
