By analysing them, the following features of the energy sources of our ocean areas can be obtained: (1) The potential is rich with its energy totalling about 9×10~8kw. Ocean thermal energy, which amounts to 6×10~8kw, accounts for the majority of the total.(2) Distribution of sources is uneven. Thermal energy, current energy and wave energy are concentrated in the East China Sea and South China Sea. Tide, wave, salinity gradient energy and tidal current energy are found mostly along the coast of Zhejiang and Fujian Provinces. The area along the east coast of Guangdong Province comes second. (3) Most kinds of energy vary in amount with the time with ocean thermal energy and current energy remaining stable. Tide energy and tidal current energy vary by hours, days or months. The change is evident and regular. Thus it can be predicated. wave energy varies greatly by seconds, minutes or hours as well as by seasons while salinity gradient energy only has seasonal or annual change.

Based on the theory of ship's motion on the current field and the knowledge of the action of the current field on ships, considering the oil consumption of ships'main engine, the anthor calculated the tidal current situation of the route given and put forward the priprimary result of research on ship's saving energy for utilizing tidal current.

本文基于船舶在流场中航行的理论及潮流场对船舶作用的原理,对给定航线的潮流状况结合主机油耗作数值计算,提出了航行船舶利用潮流能节约能源的初步研完成果。 虽然潮流能的品位低于潮汐能,但它用于航行船舶节能有显著实效,在开发利用海洋能方面有其实际意义。
