The result showed that there were PCNA positive cell nuclears in the BP of the Gentamicin group while PCNA in the normal control group and the negative control group were negative. It suggests that PCNA immunocytology is a good method for detecting the proliferating cell.

Neither Tlymphocytes nor Blymphocytes were found in this group of samples. Conclusions RPE, pigment epithelial cells, neuroretinal cells and macrophages are in subretinal fluid and may participate in the formation and development of PVR in various degrees.

Six h after injection,the chicks were sacrificed and small intestine was removed and prepared paraffin-embedded sections for BrdU im-munocytochemistry to examine mitotic activity. A large number of labeled cells (S phase) were found in small intestine. By means of the mothod above,we detected physiological regeneration in sensory cells of postnatal chick inner ear. The results showed that there was a low rate of ongoing production in the avian vestibular epithelium. BrdU immunocytochemistry is much less time consuming and does not require precautions. Also it enables a more precise localization in the paraffin-embedded sections.

建立溴脱氧尿苷(bromodeoxyuridine,BrdU)免疫细胞化学方法显示增殖细咆.按100mg/kg剂量给鸡腹腔注射DNA合成的前体物质BrdU,6h后处死动物,取小肠组织制备石蜡切片,通过免疫细胞化学方法,成功地显示了小肠上皮细胞中的S期增殖细胞,将此法用于观察鸡内耳感觉上皮细胞的生理性再生状态,结果发现鸡前庭感觉上皮中存在着低水平的增殖活动。BrdU免疫细胞化学方法省时,无需特别防护,且定位准确,是显示增殖细胞的理想方法。
