The Proportional Difference Operator(PDO) method is proposed to study the proportional difference characteristic of long channel MOSFETs at all regions,including the subthreshold region and the saturation region.Using the PDO method,the double integral expression established by Pao and Sah is studied and the proportional difference characteristics of the drain current at all operation regions are shown to be of the spectral nature.The peak position and amplitude are found to have direct relations with some important characteristic parameters of MOSFETs(such as effective carrier mobility,thermal voltage and threshold voltage,etc),so complicated double integral expression can be avoided and useful information can be got using the PDO method.

This algorithm avoids congestion of network link and achieves the goal of utilizing the link capacity efficiently and relieving the network congestion. Furthermore, the system stability using control theory was studied, and the stability area of control gains is described for implementation of the proposed algorithm. Finally, we compare PDAVQ with the known AVQ algorithm by simulations. The simulation results demonstrate the performance excellence of the proposed algorithm in terms of the higher utilization, the lower link delay, the lower loss rate and fast system response.

提出了一种新的基于比例差分控制的自适应虚拟队列管理(AVQ)算法—PDAVQ,用于对网络链路中产生的拥塞进行控制,以达到有效利用网络带宽,使整个网络系统达到稳定,缓解网络拥塞的目的。而且本文对所提算法运用控制理论对系统的稳定性进行了证明,给出了满足系统稳定性条件的参数选择方法和 PDAVQ 算法的具体描述。最后,通过 ns2 仿真实验与现有的 AVQ 算法比较,结果表明,所提 PDAVQ 算法具有较高的吞吐率、较低的链路延迟和数据丢失率,并能更快的使整个网络系统达到稳定,具有较好的网络性能。
