An assessment has been made of from 10000 to 50000m3 standard oil tank floating roof,which has made it clear that in storing crude oil of less corrosivity and more buoyancy,the disc and shell may further be made thinner so as to save steel by 5-6% without any reduction of its strength and stability.

按照中国科学院提出的油罐浮顶强度及稳定度计算方法编制了电算程序。对一万至五万立方米标准油罐浮顶进行了核算,在储存原油条件下,腐蚀性较小,浮力较大,单盘及船舱壁板有可能进一步减薄,可节省5~6%钢材,但其强度及稳定度并不降低。
