This paper discusses the finite element analysis formulated by the weighted residual method as applied in the elasto-hydrodynamic lubrioation theory. Accordingly, a widely adaptable and easily applicable isoparametric transformations for Boussinesq integration has been recommended for the calculation of contact deformation. By employing eight-node isoparametric elements, an ordinary solution and also an elastic solution of journal bearing with finite length under heavy loading conditions have been obtained.

Detailed analysis of the design methods and how these contours change were given. Finally, aset of formulas describing this contour was also given.

近年来,国外中小型内燃机的活塞裙部外形型面,多趋向在横截面上呈椭圆、且沿裙高椭圆形还是变化的;而在纵向上呈鼓形的复杂空间曲面。但对这种曲面的具体变化规律、设计这类曲面的理论根据以及这类曲面的确切可靠、经济合理的成形加工工艺等技术关键问题,却一直未见透露。本文从弹性稳定理论、传热学和流体动力润滑理论的一些原则结论出发,探讨了设计这类曲面的理论根据,详细分析了这类曲面的具体变化规律和设计方法,提出了描述这类曲面的圆柱参数方程式组。

This article gives a brief account of the basic concept of elastohydrodyn amic lubrication(EHL)and analyses the features of its film shape and presure distribution.Then,some new considerations about the cause and mechanism which lead to fatigue pitting are suggested by applying the theory of fracture mechanics on inciqient crack and crack extension.Finally,it synthesizes the main factors which affect the fatigue crack of the tooth surface extension and form pitting under EHL conditions.

本文首先简要地介绍了弹性流体动力润滑的基本概念,分析了其油膜形状和压力分布的特点。然后,用断裂力学关于裂纹生核和裂纹扩展的理论,提出了关于齿面疲劳点蚀产生的原因和机理的一些新的看法。最后,综合了在弹性流体动力润滑条件下影响齿面疲劳裂纹扩展形成点蚀的主要因素。
