According to a study on the basic physiological and biochemical characteristics of fowl, the suitable pH and osmotic pressure for the in vitro survival of fowl spermatozoa were defined. A diluent named BJJX was developed using home-made reagents which consist of 14g of glucose (A. R. ), 14g of citrate sodium (A. R. ), 3.6g of K_2HPO_4(A.R.) and 24g of Na_2HPO_4·12H_2O (A. R. ) in one litre of distilled water, the osmotic pressure being 367mmol/kg and pH 7.2.Fowl semen was diluted with 2 volumes of BJJX and stored for 9 hours and 24 hours at 0-5℃ before insemination. The fertility rates of eggs were 90.0%(233/259) and 79.0% |(184/233) respectively, while those of the BPSE-diluted control group were 92.4% (218/236) and 78.5% (197/251).When semen was diluted with equal volume of BJJX or BPSE (control group), the fertility rates between BJJX and BPSE's groups were not significantly different.The BJJX has been used in Beijing area under field condition with good effect, resuiting in 67,000 hatching eggs.

本文在研究鸡精液基本生理生化特性的基础上,明确了鸡精子体外存活的适宜渗透压和酸碱度。用国产常用试剂,研制出BJJX稀释液,其渗透压为367毫克分子/公斤,pH7.2。用BJJX稀释液与鸡精液作1∶2稀释、0-5℃保存9或24小时后给母鸡输精,蛋受精率分别为90.0%(233/259)及79.0%(184/233),用BPSE液作为对照,蛋受精率为92.4%(218/236)及78.5%(197/251)。以1∶1稀释,在0-5℃保存24小时后输精,BJJX液和BPSE液的蛋受精率分別为92.2%(249/270)及94.8%(220/232)。BJJX稀释精液目前已在京郊作生产性推广应用67000余枚种蛋,蛋的受精率为74.6-91.1%。获得肯定效果。

The Leydig cells occured in quails before dayopersisted throughout spermatogenesis. This result was at variance with the changes seen in the Leydig cells of the domestic fowl. After 21 days of life, we could find a number of degenerative cells and some eosinophil bodies which consisted of several eosinocytes. Two, Three or even more nuclei were observed in the eosinophil bodies.

本文是研究日本鹌鹁(Coturnix coturnix Japonica)睾丸组织不同日龄的生长发育。精细胞的生长发育可分为六期。初级精母细胞于11天龄出现;36天龄出现精于细胞;46天龄可见已成形的精子。鹌鹑的精子细胞与家畜及鸡的精子细胞在结构与染色特点上有所不同。睾丸间质细胞5天龄前已出现,始终明显地存在于睾丸间质组织中,这与鸡的间质细胞在年龄性变化上存有差异。在21天龄后的曲精细管管腔中,可见数量不等的退化细胞及由数个胞质强嗜酸性的细胞组成的嗜酸小体。小体可见有双核,三核或多核的。
