In this paper,the curves of slowness in (100),(010) and (001) for GaPO 4 have been plotted.The maximum of acoustic velocities and their directions have also been gained,and compared with that of α SiO 2.Crystal orientation dependence of piezoelectric constant d 11 and electromechanical coupling factor k 11 have been calculated phenomenologically.The maximum of longitudinal piezoelectric constant d 11 and electromechanical coupling factor k 11 are obtained.The orientation was also determined.It is found that the d 11 and k 11 of GaPO 4 are much larger than that of SiO 2 and the velocity of acoustic wave is smaller than that of SiO 2.These results will give certain directions for the use of GaPO 4 in piezoelectrical and acoustic optical devices.

本文首先绘制了GaPO4 晶体在 (10 0 )、(0 10 )、(0 0 1)三个主晶面内慢度分布曲线 ,计算了声速的最大值 ,并与水晶进行了比较 ,发现GaPO4 晶体的声速普遍小于水晶的声速 ;其次还探讨了GaPO4 晶体压电系数d11及机电耦合系数k11随空间方向变化的规律 ,得到了GaPO4 晶体d11、k11的最大值及其方向 ,并分别和水晶进行了比较 ,发现GaPO4 晶体的d11和k11都远大于水晶的。这些结果将对GaPO4 晶体在压电器件和声光器件的设计、开发及利用等方面具有一定的理论指导作用。

The maximum of acoustic velocities and their directions have also been gained, and they are made comparison with that of LiB5O7. Crystal orientation dependence of piezoelectric modulus d33 and electromechanical coupling coefficient k33 have been calculated phenomenologically. The maximum values of piezoelectric modulus d33 and electromechanical coefficient k33 are obtained, and the orientations are also determined. It is found that the values of piezoelectric modulus and electromechanical coefficient for LBO are similar to those of Li2B4O7 and the velocities of acoustic wave are larger than those of Li2B4O7. These results will give certain directions for the application of LiB3O5 to the devices of piezoelectricity and acoustic-optics.

计算并绘制了LiB3O5(简称LBO)晶体在(100)、(010)、(001)3个主晶面内慢度分布曲线,得到了声速的最大值及其方向.探讨了LBO晶体纵向压电系数d33及机电耦合系数k33随空间方向变化的规律,分别得到了LBO晶体压电系数d33及机电耦合系数k33的最大值及其方向,并与Li2B4O7进行了比较.结果表明,LBO晶体有作为声光器件和压电器件的潜力,并对相关器件的设计、开发及利用等方面有一定的理论指导作用.

ZnO material has a long history in the application of piezoelectric devices.There has been great progress in the volume and quality of single crystal ZnO since Robert F.Service notified that ZnO promised to realize the blue light output in the short wavelength in 1997.Generalizing from the researches into the piezoelectric characteristics of single crystal ZnO since the 1960's,the results indicate that the future of ZnO crystals used in the piezoelectric devices should be optimistic further.

氧化锌材料制作压电器件已经有很长的研究历史,自从Robert F.Service在1997年报道氧化锌可以在短波长范围实现蓝光输出后,氧化锌单晶在质量和体积方面取得了很大的研究进展。通过对比分析20世纪60年代以来氧化锌单晶压电特性的研究结果,指出迄今为止制作压电器件的氧化锌单晶仍然需要继续优化。
