In this paper, the effects of the storage temperature on the ageing characteristics of HTPB propellants have been studied. The experiment was done in air. The ageing characteristies were expressed by the parameters, such as tensile strength, elongation, hardness, and weight loss of HTPB propellants etc. The experimental results have showed that at the same storage temperature, the tensile strength raised, the elongation reduced, the hardness raised and the weight-loss raised a little with the increased of storage-time. The higher storage temperature will accelerate the change of the paramenters.According to the measuring data of the elongation of HTPB propellants, it showed that at the storage temperature given in this paper, the mechanism of the ageing reaction is simular. The E-value of 49.6kJ/mol can be obtained from the Arrhenius polts, and furthermore the (ε/ε0) value vs. Storage-life polts of HTPB propellants can be determined through the formula at 25℃.

A lot of experimental data are obtained by the emulcification research of fraction and various residum ratio oil. The influences of temperature, cosurfacant, emulsifying way, storage temperature on the stability of emulsified oil are discussed. Furthermore, viscosity, freezing point are compared between emulsified oil and unemulsified. The effects of adding amount on emulsified oil are observed. The results provide necessary basis for the industrial application of emulsified oil. Moreover, based on “demolition atomization” theory, emulsified heavy oil is used in RFCC first time, it can improve traditional atomize way, smaller diameter of atomized droplets can be obtained and the research achievement are satisfied.

Some materials in JOB-9003, a kind of plastic bonded explosive are migrated under long storage conditions. Some materials in JOB-9003, a kind of plastic bonded explosive are migrated under long storage conditions. The migrated materials and easy migrated materials under high temperature are characterized and determined. The needle-shaped crystals are migrated to the walls of the glass vessel. At 75℃, stored for three months. And form the SEM photography, it is quite clear that some needle-shaped crystals existed on the surface of JOB-9003. By using GC/MS technique, the migrated substance had been determined to be TNT mostly, and micro amount of wax and impurity of explosives. The results of HPLC show that the content of TNT was down about 17.65%. The results of XPS show that the elemental content of surface is different with the stockpile temperature changing. From the results, it can be seen that the material which was easy to migrate has low melting-point.

塑料粘结炸药JOB-9003加速老化试验后,利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察到炸药表面有针状晶体析出,在75℃贮存3个月的条件下,贮存器皿壁上已有晶体迁移出。利用高效液相色谱(HPLC)对其中的炸药成分含量进行了分析,发现TNT含量下降了17.65%。XPS结果显示在不同贮存温度下表面元素含量不同。并利用气相色谱-质谱(GC/MS)对迁移出的组分进行了表征,表明迁移物除TNT外,还有低熔点物质及炸药杂质。
