The gases evoluted during irradiation have been analyzed and meas measured, so that the Gvalues were calculated as foollows: 2.52~3.56 for H_2 0.11~0.12 for CH_4, 0.01~0.02 for C_2H_4 0.13~0.20 for C_3H_6, and 0.24~0.26 for C_4H_8. The results showed that the physica1 and mechanical prorerties of polypropylene were notchanged, when the dose of radiation was lower than 5×10~5 rad, but decreased with fourtherincreasing doses(up to 5×10~6 rad) and a large quantity of low molecular hydro-carbon compoundswere produced, When the dose exceeded 3×10~7 rad, the polypropylene sample could be damegedextremely and even changed into powder. It was found by the ESR measurement that trapped free radical of polypropylene, irradiationin vacuum at room temperature, was converted into peroxy radical rapidly as the samples wereexposed in air, obviously, this may cause auto-oxidation degradation of polypropylene. The authors suggest that in order to improve the radiation stability of polypropylene it isnecessary to add some anti-oxidents or to prepare polypropylene in the form of multi-componentcopolymers.

The results showed that both polymers have rather high radiation stability up to 2.0 MGy the mechanical properties of GRZ mented polyetherurethane is lower than that of glass fabric bonded nylon; above 0.5MGy dose the molecular weight and mechanical properties were decrased.

尼龙—66这种聚酰胺是很好的工程塑料,有较高的辐射稳定性。在玻璃纤维掺入的尼龙制品中玻璃纤维与尼龙分子间存在一种特殊的化学键。本文研究了玻璃纤维掺入的尼龙66的辐射稳定性。结果表明这种化学键对材料稳定性影响很小。嵌段聚醚聚氨酯是一种新型的生物高分子材料,由于硬段聚酰胺存在,其辐射稳定性亦较高,但软段醚键降低了其辐射稳定性。实验结果表明在0.5MGy剂量下其辐射稳定是好的,再增加剂量就会导致聚醚聚氨酯分子量和力学性能的下降。

The influence of the radiation processing on the mechanical properties of the GRPA1010 (glassfiber reinforced nylon 1010) and PA1010 (polyamide 1010) was studied. The tensile strength σs of GRPA1010 and PA1010 is not affacted by γ-radiation up to 2. 0 MGy. The impact strength σi of GRPA1010 is not affacted by radiation too,as R>500 kGy. GRPA1010 has higher radiation stability than PA1010 has.The influence of oxygen was observed.

研究了玻纤增强尼龙1010(GRPA1010)和尼龙1010(PA1010)的力学性能受γ辐照工艺的影响。结果表明,GRPA1010和PA1010的拉伸强度σs受辐照剂量R的影响很小;在R<0.5MGy时,GRPA1010和PA1010的冲击强度σi和断裂伸长率εs皆随R的增加而降低;R>0.5MGy后,它们的εs继续随R的增加而下降,而GRPA1010的σi则不受R的影响。GRPA1010的辐射稳定性优于PA1010。
