The yield of the Z-enols is 79~88% when n=1.If the hydroxyl group is remoto...

Gas chromatographic analysis showed that the products of the reaction are not contaminated with any detectable amount of E-enols nor the corresponding saturated alcohols. Z-alkenols thus synthesized are RCH=CH(CH_2)_nOH[n=1, R=n-C_3H_7, n-C_4H_9, n-C_6H_(13), n-C_7H_(15); n=2,R=n-C_6H_(13); n=8, R=n-C_6H_(13)]. The yield of the Z-enols is 79~88% when n=1.If the hydroxyl group is remoto from the triple bond, the yield is higher. The yield of the enol is apparently decreased when n=1 and with α-alkyl substituents on alkynols (See Table 1 of Chinese Text). It seems that this is due to the steric effectof the bulky O [Zr] group. All Z-enols were obtained by protonolysis of the hydrozirconation products of the substituted α-alkyl alkynols with 2% NH_4Cl solution. However, by using 3N HCl instead of 2% NH_4Cl solution during protonolysis, a mixture of Z-and E-enols and allylic rearrangement product was obtained. The formation of E-enol and allylic rearrangement product not only depends upon the condition of protonolysis but is also relevant to the. pressence of alkyl substituents on the α-carbon atom.The process may be visualized as follows; namely:The formation of carbonium ion in 3N HCl solution: [n-BuCH=CH=C(CH_3)_2]~(+) Nucleophilic attack on α-carbon with isomerization to give n-BuCH=CH(CH_3)_2OH.And attack on γ-carbon resulting in allylic rearrangement product n-BuCH(OH) CH=C(CH_3)_2. On the other hand, the hydrozirconation of 2-methyl-2-methoxy-3-octyne produced only Z-vinyl ether. This result supports our assumption mentioned above.

本文报道了炔醇的锆氢化反应。炔醇和两分子锆氢化试剂在室温反应可使还原产物高选择性地停留于烯醇,所得顺式烯醇的立体选择性高达100%。直链脂族a-炔醇锆氢化产物的产率为79~88%。当炔醇的羟基远离炔键时,由于减少了空间位阻使锆氢化产物的产率有所提高;在炔醇的a碳上有甲基取代基时,由于增加了空间障碍而使顺式烯醇产率下降。此外,后者在强酸介质中,部分异构化为反式烯醇及少量烯丙基型重排产物。本法是从炔醇合成顺式烯醇的一种新方法,它的主要特点是反应条件温和,立体选择性好以及产率较高。
