This paperdescribes the basic theory of the push-push DRO,and introduces the simplified optimum design method for microwave DRO. Because frequency tuning mechanisms could enhance the oscllator's frequency tuning capability,a voltage-tuned BJTs push-push DRO at 7. 0GHz is designed and constructed. In this paper,a microwave source with high stability is presented.That made of such as microwave multipliers,dielectric resonator oscillator and microwave mixer.Then the design plan of the microwave soure with high stability is introduced.The results show that it has better short term frequency stability and frequency drife performance with temperature.
